EMERGING CRICKETER IN INDIAN CRICKET (VIRAT KOHLI)

Virat Kohli the typical modern-day cricketer, Virat Kohli plays his game aggressively, bares his emotions loudly in public, yet retains the element of maturity that forms an integral part of every good and great player. He is also the world cup winning captain of the under 19 cricket team and also member of the world cup winning team in 2011.Kohli after winning the under 19 got carried away with his success and walked in the wrong path and many commented on him saying that he is arrogant as kohli struggled to balance his career and the adultation that came with the success .But some introspection and the expert guidance from the indian senior members allowed kohli to bounce back.Today he had transformed into a most dependable indian batsman in the india's middle order and also the best indian batsman in chasing .
His defensive technique is organised, he is an accomplished strokeplayer all round the wicket - his timing on the legside is especially silken - and he relishes performing when the pressure is on.
He is an important presence in the indian world cup triumph where he scored a century in the world cup opener and his patience 35 in the world cup final which helped to build a third wicket patrnership with gambhir which lead india to rebuild after the early loss of the openers.
After that when india toured australia all other indian batsman struggled to make runs but he is the only person to score a century in the whole test series. After that when india was almost out of the  CB series he scored a rocking 86 ball unbeaten 133 which helped india to chase down a target of 320 in under 40 overs.Much was excpected from him when his took place of v.v.s laxman.
His gung-ho attitude, his youthful charm and his aggression have also made him the mascot of his IPL team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli has repaid the franchise by helping Bangalore reach the finals of the 2009 and 2011 IPL seasons and then almost single-handedly taking them to the title clash in the 2011 Champions League Twenty20. He was handed the Royal Challengers Bangalore' captaincy for the 2013 IPL season, with the intention of grooming him as the future captain of India. He is also the awarded in 2012 as icc ODI player of the year and peoples choice award for favorite sports person of the year .On 10 th august 2013 he is also given the Arjuna Award.
Many of the former crickters are of an opinion that kohli is the future captain of indian cricket.
Tendulkar also commented in an interview that "virat kohli is the player who can brake the records of my career".
